Friday 18th June 2021
We will have some free time to explore the museum before departing for Penrith RSL for our lunch break.
Suitably fed and watered we then travel through Mulgoa and Wallacia to Warragamba Dam where we can explore the Visitor Centre and view the detailed information regarding the storage and distribution of one of the most vital items to sustain life as we know it.
Leaving here, it is only a short drive to join the Northern Road at Luddenham for the trip back to Narellan and the end of another day with friends.

Another day when we stay closer to home. The Museum of Fire at Penrith is more than just a collection of old (and not so old Fire Trucks). Before we commence our guided tour of the complex, we will have time for a cuppa. Our guide (possibly will be a serving or a retired fireman) will lead us through the collection of “Appliances” as fire trucks are called, show us much of the memorabilia and regale us with information on the creation and history of the Fire Services in Australia.
